Polyvinyl chloride, commonly abbreviated to PVC, is a widely produced plastic. PVC is a type of thermoplastic polymer that is flexible and durable, and therefore suitable for use on conveyor systems.
Main PVC coating types:
Polyurethane belts are mainly used in the Food Industry. Due to its structure, polyurethane belts do not give off damaging toxins or chemicals. Polyurethanes for process and conveyor belting can be either thermoplastic – TPU, or thermoset – PUR. Thermoplastic polyurethane coating material excels through its exceptional resistance to grease, oils and chemicals.

The modular belts are manufactured based on injected plastic modules, using the most current means in this technology and controlling the process parameters at all times.
The achievement of the desired widths is carried out by means of its brick wall type arrangement, combining the modules of different sizes. In this way different lengths and widths are created.
Modular Belts are positive drive, low-noise and long lasting.
Assembled in a bricklay pattern, they can be made to almost any length and width and a wide-range of accessories are available to customize the belt for specific applications or processes.

Volta Belting’s food-grade conveyor belting is manufactured from homogenous Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) to give an excellent contact surface for raw, cooked and frozen foodstuffs. Available with textured nonstick or high-grip surfaces. The belts can be installed on-site to save valuable production time and reduce contamination of the surrounding environment to a minimum.
